Mother-daughter team Heather, a physician, and Erica, grade 7 student, will be visiting their sponsored student at the Zeke O’Connor School in Phaplu, and revisiting Kunde Hospital where Heather worked in 2002!
Shelagh & George
Shelagh and George got hooked through SEHF’s online cooking courses during the COVID lockdowns and found their cause compelling. Shelagh has always wanted to see the Himalayas but is not a trekker, so hiking with a purpose to give back just seemed right.
Shelagh, a Gallery Guide at tbe Art Gallery of Ontario, loves assisting others find their way into the art, and counts herself lucky to travel and explote the world with partner George. George continues to play hockey as a goalie!
