EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR’S REPORT

The Pandemic has generated serious healthcare, education, and socio-economic challenges to overcome the world over. Nepal is no exception. However, in the High Himalayas, the Kunde Hospital reports that it is currently not seeing or treating any COVID cases. Also, since our October update, the High School in Phaplu remains open, and the students continue to adhere to social distancing and mask-wearing protocols. Our sources do say that because of the lack of adequate COVID testing kits in the Region, it is difficult for anyone to discern the full scope of the situation. We will continue to share updates with you as the information becomes available. Meanwhile, as we transition to a new year, know that your collective financial assistance is more important than ever!
